To provide delegates with skills and knowledge in safe team leading.
Appropriate for delegates that have already achieved the CCNSG Passport and are in a management or supervision role; alternatively those who have a key role in the correct implementation of health and safety on site.
Upon successful completion an ECITB Leading a Team Safely (LaTS) training course, delegates will have the skills to:
- Influence the behaviour of those that they supervise
- Ensure good planning and communication of health and safety related to site work
- Help to ensure workers work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others
An ECITB Leading a Team Safely (LaTS) training course includes:
- Strategies for working safely with others
- Tips for communicating successfully
- Leading a team effectively
- Guidelines for achieving safe outcomes
- Techniques for self-management
- An awareness of health and safety at work and their responsibilities for creating a safe workplace
- An understanding of safe solutions to problems in the workplace
ECITB LaTS is aimed at delegates currently within a managerial position or those who have responsibility for wider teams. Delegates may have little or no prior training in health and safety or the fundamentals of leadership.
Delegates
MUST have an in-date CCNSG Passport prior to course attendance with a minimum
validity of 4 months. Delegates must have the understanding and conversational
use of the British language and a valid photo ID. Delegates must provide date
of birth 5 days prior for registration. It is also the delegate's
responsibility to notify us of any allergies prior to attendance.
