It outlines how to identify those materials that may contain asbestos and where they might be found. This course informs the delegate how to reduce the associated risks from asbestos in order to work more safely on site.

    Asbestos awareness Refresher training is aimed at delegates who may work on the fabric of any premises built/refurbished before the year 2000, and those who influence such works. If you are a supervisor/manager of a team who work on these buildings, asbestos awareness training is necessary.

    Please note: Delegates attending this course MUST have successfully completed the UKATA –Asbestos Awareness course within the last 12 months.

    The course is recognised by the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) and meets the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR).
